Since March 2020, the ASF has had to cease all activities due to the pandemic. Public Health has maintained certain health parameters to curb the spread of the virus. Since the proximity necessary for the safe operation of adaptive ski lessons poses a risk of contamination, the ASF has chosen not to take the risk. Therefore, the ASF has made the difficult decision to cancel its 2021 Winter Program. This decision protects our participants and volunteers who, to a large extent, are part of the population susceptible to complications due to their health or age.

The Adaptive Sports Foundation’s programs rely solely on volunteer involvement. In addition to the arrival of more contagious variants, we have listened to the response to the recent volunteer survey. Despite the enthusiasm of some, we have heard the reluctance of many.

By sticking together and preserving in the efforts to contain the pandemic, we are convinced that we will be able to enjoy adaptive sports activities in the near future. We invite you to stay tuned for news and in touch with our wonderful community of adaptive sports enthusiasts on our social media networks.

To all those who have registered as participants or to volunteer this winter, we hope to have you with us when activities resume!
