Paddleboarding

The ASF’s adaptive paddleboarding program supports and empowers individuals with physical disabilities by offering them the opportunity to enjoy the calm waters of Quebec. Our mission is to help participants experience the joy of gliding on water independently, through their own effort.

Whether it’s a solo outing or a group activity, contact us today to enjoy a unique and accessible experience on the water!

Adapted Kayaking

The ASF’s kayak program supports and encourages individuals with physical disabilities by offering opportunities to enjoy Quebec’s calm waters. Our goal is to enable participants to move independently through their own effort.

Adapted Water Skiing

The ASF offers two water sports programs: “Introduction to Adapted Water Sports” and “Elite Water Skiing”. These programs allow athletes of all levels to engage in adapted water sports.

Dahü

The Dahü, our wheelchair specially designed for mountainous terrain, promotes teamwork and strengthens relationships among participants. Individuals with reduced mobility using the Dahü can help guide their team through the mountainous terrain and even participate in the effort using poles if their condition allows.

Cities and organizations that acquire a Dahü commit to lending it free of charge to individuals with reduced mobility. The ASF coordinates volunteer availability and ensures a safe outing in a refreshing outdoor environment.

Adapted Mountain Biking

This innovative program was initiated by the organization Les Amis des Sentiers de Bromont, with participation and a grant from Kéroul, which enabled the acquisition of two electric-assist mountain bikes.

Thanks to these bikes, a large part of Bromont’s trails (150 km), operated and maintained by Les Amis des Sentiers, is now accessible to individuals with physical disabilities. The goal is to allow them to enjoy an outdoor sport and the beauty of nature.

Paragolf

It is now possible to learn adapted golf thanks to the Paragolfer.

We offer introductory sessions to allow individuals living with physical disabilities to discover and enjoy this activity. For some, it is an opportunity to reconnect with a sport they knew before their accident or the onset of their illness.
